Jem-One joins the Repertoire stable with two heavyweight tracks that hit hard right from the first bar.
Producing since 2007, Jem-One’s music has seen support from scene lynchpins Goldie, Andy C and Grooverider, as well as his track “Metal Voice” being voted “tune of the year in 2008 by Metalheadz custodian DJ Bailey.
With releases already on labels such as 36 Hertz, Mac II and Intasound, Jem-One has recently redoubled his production efforts – and this release is the first of many across a spectrum of labels as we enter 2017.
A) Floating Headz
Imperial strings and stepping beats march on right from the word go, before a booming 808 and mentasm combo takes centre stage.
Floating Headz never lets up – pure rufige.
Restrained at first, it doesn’t take long for Resonance and its stuttering drum pattern to work through the gears. Things switch up at the halfway point when the amen break enters the fray accompanied by familiar sounding strings.
